soo tired......so desperate to finish the book......
am about 460 pages in, and probably would have got a chance of finishing the book, but my aunt called about 10 this morning & all my plans went out the window when she asked if I wanted to go to the beach. So I did, did not take much to convince me to go, actually didn't take any convincing to go.
but no painting got done. I took my book with me & despite my 3 odd hours on the beach I think I only managed 2 chapters, if that. I am not one for blocking ppl out & so I was hearing ppl taking rather than concentrating on the book. I left before them though cos I needed to get more paint, so I got home about 4, started cooking my spag sauce and let that simmer while I read for an hour, then I watched the HP thing on 3 while ironing. Then convereted my sauce into lasagna and while that cooked I finished ironing. Didn't get back to the book till 8 (shock horror), read for almost an hour then grabbed a shower (did not want my bed full of sand), and have been reading again for another hour or so, but my eyes are sooooooo sore now, I can't read any more.
I can't see me finishing the book by the end of the week now, sis is coming up next weekend, so I really do need to finish the spare room, which I had planned to do, but I had also planned to have finished the book by now! Oh well, will go sit over by the library for lunch this week & read for close to an hour! |
